TYAN is using the NVIDIA 2016 GPU Technology Conference next week to show off its new 4U, four GPU platform. The FT76-B7922 platform supports up to four NVIDIA Tesla K80 dual-GPU accelerators, four Intel Xeon E7-8800 v3 processors, 96 DIMM slots, and eight 2.5-inch SAS 12Gbps hard drives or SSDs.
The new platform is meant for parallelized application deployment in high-performance computing segments. In addition to the aforementioned features, it also has three PCIe Gen3 expansion slots, four 10GbE ports, and 4,800W redundant 80-Plus Platinum-rated power supplies.
TYAN will also have a new OpenPOWER 1U server at the NVIDIA show. The GT75-BP012, powered by POWER8, is designed for high-performance computing and server virtualization.
