GIGABYTE says it will unveil a new motherboard this week at Digital Signage Expo 2016. The DSE event runs from March 16 – 17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and highlights new developments and products in digital signage. GIGABYTE’s new board, the Q170TN, is designed to survive harsh conditions and can drive a trio of digital displays with native 4K support. GIGABYTE says the motherboard was created with industrial PCs in mind and was built to the company’s exacting UltraDurable standards for quality and toughness.
The Q170TN has 2 x SO-DIMMS slots that handle DDR4 in a horizontal alignment. There is one DC-in port and an ATX12V 4-pin power connector. The board can handle the latest Intel processors despite its compact size.
GIGABYTE also will be showcasing BRIX compact barebones systems and the GIGABYTE Bear Ridge, a small form factor system that the company says is a “perfect IoT gateway solution,” at its booth.
