Refurb 3rd-Gen Apple TV media receiver for $40
You can save money without sacrificing quality by buying refurbished Apple products, but be sure to get factory-refurbished items still covered by Apple’s warranty. Fortunately, Walmart is currently offering the factory-refurbished Apple TV media receiver for $39.99. Opt for in-store pickup to dodge the $5.97 shipping charge.
That’s $12 under our mention of a new model from last week and the lowest total price we’ve seen, new or refurbished. (It’s $15 under a refurb today.) This version displays 1080p video and features Netflix, YouTube, Vimeo and Flickr integration, AirPlay support, 802.11n wireless, Ethernet, HDMI and USB. A 90-day Apple warranty applies.
iPad mini 4 128GB Wi-Fi for $374.99
Need a ton of storage without the heft of an iPad Air 2? At a healthy $125 off of list price and with free shipping, this iPad mini 4 128GB Wi-Fi at Best Buy is $75 under the next best price we could find. Best Buy also offers the Apple iPad mini 4 32GB Wi-Fi for $274.99, but that is only available for in-store pickup, assuming it’s in stock in your area.
iPhone 7 or 7 Plus for T-Mobile for free with qualified trade-in
Beginning November 24 as part of its Black Friday Weekend Sale, T-Mobile will offer an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus 32GB smartphone for free when you trade in a qualified last-generation smartphone and use your new smartphone on an eligible T-Mobile service plan. (You’ll receive 24 monthly bill credits to cover the cost of the phone, although you must pay sales tax.)
That’s the best trade-in offer we’ve seen from T-Mobile this year; we saw a similar deal in September, but that was for the iPhone 7 only. Older trade-ins are subject to additional fees. Deal ends November 27.
Not a current T-Mobile customer? Combined with the deal above, you’ll get a $200 prepaid MasterCard for free for every number you switch to T-Mobile. (It’s valid for as many as 12 lines — up to $2,400 total.)
