It’s not nearly as exciting as bringing back the beloved McRib, but McDonald’s is rejiggering its most iconic sandwich next year by rolling out two new versions of the Big Mac.

Buzzfeed reports that that for a few weeks in early 2017, the Golden Arches will offer a bigger and smaller version of the Big Mac—which famously is comprised of two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun—all across the US.

The new sandwiches were both tested earlier this year in Ohio and Dallas, which were selected for being “beef-centric areas,” said McDonald’s Chef Mike Haracz.

“It was time to launch something like this,” he told BuzzFeed News. The rollout requires adding 1/6 lb. patties to restaurant kitchens and a larger bun for the Grand Mac.

Only time will tell if the new Macs make the cut from winter promotion to the permanent menu.

“If they’re crushing it, we’ll keep it rolling,” Haracz said.

Let’s just hope Ronald McDonald will have come out of hiding by then to sample one.
