Conveyor Group wins two Silver awards)….Conveyor operates out of the City of Imperial.
The two Web Design awards were for Conveyor’s work on the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival Website. One Silver was awarded at the International Festivals and Event Association’s 61st Annual Convention. The second Silver was awarded by the Davey Awards. The website was launched last February and was the 4th iteration of the Temecula Festival’s website designed and programmed by the Conveyor Group.
Convention Forum
- Save & Close(1st LGBT Convention Forum is set)…It is hosted by the LGBT Coalition of the Desert.
It will be held January 10th at the First United Methodist Church on South 8th Street in El Centro. The all day event will run from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. They will present an educational forum. The Convention will include keynote speakers from Palm Springs, Mexicali, San Diego and local agency representatives. Information materials will be passed out through resource agencies. The first Market Day of 2017)…It is scheduled for January 13th.
Imperial Market Days are scheduled throughout the year. On the 13th the Market Days event will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. The theme is Taking Flight. That goes with the following days event. On Saturday, January 14th, the City will host the annual Aviation Day at the County Airport. Aviation Day includes free flights for children. There will be several static displays, vendors and a lot more, including a 5k run. Aviation Day is free to the public. It will start at 9:00 am January 14th.
