Prolific Italian hacker and jailbreak developer Luca Todesco has just released the first alpha build of Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10 – 10.2 with support for a handful of devices including iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE and iPad Pro. Although this is not a completely stable build of Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10.2, it is the first fully-working iOS 10 jailbreak with support for Mobile Substrate and the developer has suggested that it is more stable than other beta builds of Yalu for iOS 10 – 10.1.1.
Those who cannot wait for a fully-stable release of Yalu may go ahead and jailbreak iOS 10.2 on supported devices using the tutorial provided below. You will need to download the latest build of Yalu and Cydia Impactor tools before you proceed any further.

Step 4: Connect your iPhone/iPad to computer with USB cable and then click Trust when prompted on your device. Finally, click Continue when asked by iTunes.
Step 5: Cydia Impactor will now identify your device and it should show up in the drop down list.
Step 6: Drag and drop the yalu IPA file you downloaded earlier onto the Cydia Impactor.
Step 7: You will see a prompt to enter your Apple ID and password, which is required to sign the IPA and let it install on the device.
Step 8: Wait until the Cydia Impactor completes signing the IPA file and finishes installing the yalu102 jailbreak app on your device. At this moment, you will see the icon named as ‘yalu102’ appearing on the Home screen.
Step 9: You should first trust the app by trusting the developer’s profile, before launching it. So, navigate to Settings > General > Profiles and Device Management and tap on the email ID or profile linked to the Apple ID that you used earlier to sign-in to Cydia Impactor.
Step 10: Hit the Trust button to add the email ID to verified or trusted list.
Step 11: Return to the Home screen and launch the yalu102 app. Then tap the Go button to start the jailbreak process.
Step 12: Wait until the jailbreak completes and leave the device alone until it reboots automatically.
Step 13: After the reboot is done, Cydia should appear on the SpringBoard or Home screen.
That’s it. Your iPhone or iPad is now jailbroken on iOS 10 – 10.2 with yalu102.
Note: You will need to relaunch yalu app every time you restart the device to re-jailbreak it, as this is a semi-tethered jailbreak.
