Transsion Holdings brand Infinix, as promised, has unveiled its Zero 5 smartphone for the Indian market. The all-new Infinix Zero 5 sports dual rear cameras with support for optical zoom and portrait mode. There’s an octa-core processor powering the device while it packs 6GB of RAM. The company has also unveiled Infinix Zero 5 Pro which is identical to the Infinix Zero 5 with just one major difference.

Infinix Zero 5 price and availability

The all-new Infinix Zero 5 will be going on sale starting November 22 at 12am IST and will be exclusive to Flipkart. The Zero 5 has been priced at Rs. 17,999 and comes in Champagne Gold, Bordeaux Red, and Sandstone Black colours. The Infinix Zero 5 Pro comes with 128GB storage and is priced at Rs. 19,999.

Infinix Zero 5 specifications

The Infinix Zero 5 features a 5.98-inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor clocked at 2.6GHz coupled with 6GB of RAM. The Zero 5 packs 64GB inbuilt storage while the Zero 5 Pro comes with 128GB storage. There’s no difference between the two handsets apart from the on-board storage. Both devices support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s custom skin XOS 3.0 on top.

Talking about the cameras, the Zero 5 sports dual cameras at the back. There’s a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual LED Flash as well as a secondary 13-megapixel camera with telephoto lens, f/2.6 aperture, and 2x optical zoom. At the front, the handset packs a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash. The handset comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back. For connectivity there’s 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. GPS, USB-Type C, and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 4350mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support.
