Now that it’s the 13th of October, Google has formally decided to make the Pixel and the Pixel XL available via pre-order in India. The handsets can only be pre-booked viaFlipkart, though, so your options are fairly limited. As of now, only the Pixel is available in both storage combinations, while the Pixel XL is only listed in a 128GB variant. However, we hope the 32GB model to appear soon.
As you probably know, the Pixel phones have marked a drastic change in strategy for Google coming from the Nexus phones. Keeping this in mind, the two phones will be crucial for the company’s future. However, looking at the price tag, it seems like Google has some unrealistic expectations from the two handsets.
The Pixel in 32 and 128GB variants are priced at Rs 57,000 and Rs 66,000 respectively. The Pixel XL in a 32GB variant will cost Rs 67,000 while the 128GB version will set you back by Rs 76,000.
