Perhaps the most surprising discovery in Black Friday 2017 is big retailers are offering the same discounts on Apple’s iPhone as Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8. Typically Samsung Galaxy smartphones are more heavily discounted, especially the Galaxy S range which is over six months old so this represents arguably a win for Apple to see such high reductions on its brand new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and even the in demand iPhone X.
Elsewhere Samsung Galaxy tablets may be cheaper but clearly Apple’s iPad dominate the tablet market and are worth the extra outlay, if you can afford it. That said there’s no competition for your media with Samsung’s acclaimed HDTVs one of the star attractions for Black Friday 2017, even for the biggest Apple fans.
