China’s 3C website features the Xiaomi 16 Series, which supports 100W fast charging

The Xiaomi 16 series has appeared on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) website, giving smartphone enthusiasts a glimpse at the upcoming devices’ specifications. Expected to launch in late September or early October in China, three phones in the rumoured lineup have been listed on a certification website with support for 100W wired fast charging. The standard Xiaomi 16, the Xiaomi 16 Pro, the Xiaomi 16 Ultra, and a new compact model are said to be part of the series. An upcoming flagship Snapdragon chipset is expected to power the entire lineup.

Specifications for the Xiaomi 16 Series (Predicted)

According to a tip from Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese), three upcoming Xiaomi phones with model numbers 25098PN5AC, 2509FPN0BC, and 25113PN0EC have been spotted in China on the 3C certification website. The listing allegedly suggests that these three handsets will come with 100W wired fast charging support.

These model numbers, according to Gizmochina, are associated with the Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, and Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini. The Xiaomi 16 Ultra will also be released as part of the lineup by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. However, the most expensive phone has not yet been listed on the 3C website in China.

The latest addition to Xiaomi’s smartphone lineup, the rumored Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini, may be a high-end compact phone with comparable features to the Pro model. By the end of September or the beginning of October, China should see the unveiling of Xiaomi’s product line.

Displays on the standard Xiaomi 16 and the Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini may be 6.3 inches. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 16 Pro might get a touchscreen that is 6.8 inches wide. The standard and the Pro models are said to feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor, coupled with a 50-megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The phones are said to be powered by the yet-to-be-launched Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. The standard Xiaomi 16 might have a battery with 7,000 mAh capacity and support for 100W wired fast charging. For context, the standard Xiaomi 15 packs a 5,400mAh battery, while the Pro variant is equipped with a 6,100mAh battery. 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging are supported by both handsets.
