Amazon Echo is a smart speaker that uses Amazon’s voice assistant, Alexa, to play music, control smart home devices, provide information, read the news, set alarms and more

Sony headphones

Sony’s colourful MDR-100ABN h.ear on wireless headphones combine high-resolution audio with a bold and distinctive design. They also feature digital noise cancelling to block out background noise.

iPad Pro

Apple’s iPads are always high up on the lust list. This year’s 9.7-inch iPad Pro is as thin as an iPhone and has an A9X chip, providing performance that rivals many laptops and console-class graphics.

The iPad Pro comes in silver, gold, space grey and rose gold, and can be purchased directly from Apple’s online store, with a starting price of £549.

AncestryDNA test

If you fancy something a little different this Christmas, why not give someone you know an AncestryDNA test, which can reveal a person’s genetic ethnicity and can even uncover new family connections.

Kits cost £71 from the Ancestry website. Using a simple saliva sample, the DNA data provides a prediction of the locations of ancestors from 26 separate world-wide populations.
